Who's behind the camera

Nate Washington

Nate played sports at Mountain Ridge High School and then at Garrett College. Along the way, he was always grateful for the local photographers who captured game shots and shared them for players to find.

But he wanted more. More angles. More effort. More passion in every frame. That drive is exactly where Mr. MakeItHappen started.

For the first three years, he didn't charge a single client. He used that time to sharpen his craft, build a network, and establish his identity in the community beyond being an athlete. This fall, he officially began charging—at less than half the standard industry rate—and has already built a portfolio of over a hundred athletes. His pricing is designed to remain accessible while reflecting the intense hours of capturing and editing, continuous equipment upgrades, and the physical dedication required to get the perfect shot.

You've probably seen him all over the sidelines of Allegany County.
